Desert reflections in the Colorado River at Fisher Towers in Moab Utah. This breathtaking view of Fisher Towers reflecting in the mighty Colorado River greets travelers driving to Moab, Utah from I-70 via Utah Scenic Byway 128. Fisher Towers are a series of towers made of Cutler sandstone capped with Moenkopi sandstone and caked with a stucco of red mud. They are located along the Colorado River near Moab. The towers are named for a minor who lived near them in the 1880’s.
