Frozen Glacier Park Autumn

A freezing pool along Glacier Park's Virginia Creek and a fine snowy Autumn afternoon. I included the yellow cottonwood to prove it was rally autumn. I seemed to need some reassurance myself :)

As much as I wanted to photograph Logan Pass, I lucked out and it was closed giving me time to freeze my butt off and spend half a day hiking this canyon and shooting stunning red rock, Ice and freezing waterfalls. I doubt I could have achieved this much risking my life on the slick 'Going To the Sun Road.' Hmmm, I wonder it it was closed because there wasn't a sun this day to go too? :)
