Moonrise at sunset of the South Fork of the Snake River. This was a fortunate evening that didn't show a lot of promise but glad I stuck it out. Thirteen times per year the full moon rises when the sun is still lighting up the landscape. Half that time the weather doesn't cooperate and the rest of the times it is a crap shoot for color or time to show up or merely remembering to do so. A good evening it turned out to be.
