Oak Creek Canyon under a fresh magical snow. Sedona is magic on a normal day, when blessed with a blanket of snow it is even better. I was so lucky to be snowed in here for 3 days. Furthermore, it was so snowy The State Patrol was only allowing local access up the canyon that whole time, I checked back repeatedly. About the third day I appealed to the patrolman and explained I wasn't the normal flat land tourist that would get stuck; I continued, I'm from Jackson Hole and commute ever day for 30 years over 8,500-foot Teton Pass that has a 10% grade in all conditions. He kindly acquiesced and let me pass the admonition abdomision, don't get stuck. Because of his courtesy I got this image and I didn't get stuck.
