Colorful church in Fussen Germany. Church of the Holy Spirit. Heilig-Geist Spitalkirche (Holy Spirit Hospital Church) used to serve the old hospital in Füssen.
The origional church was gothic and built in the 15th century. It was destroyed by fire in 1733. The church was rebuilt between 1748-49 in the Rococo style. The church is the most photographed church in the city due to the exterior facade which was painted by Joseph Walch in 1749 with colorful frescoes.
